Our Client is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to complete Manual Testing and tickets within their Azure DevOps environment .
The QA Tester will collaborate closely with QA team members, developers, and product owners to transform high-level user requirements into robust manual tests.
This individual will lead manual testing efforts, analyze test results, report defects, and ensure consistent software quality across all releases.
An initial 1-year contract. Hybrid work model in Ottawa ( 2-3 Days in office)
- Tasks include, but not limited to;
- Work closely with the QA team, developers, and product owners to understand user scenarios, to transform high-level requirements into optimized manual tests.
- With a passion for testing, you advocate for, and contribute to, achieving the highest possible level of testing in support of delivering quality software.
- Analyze test results and submit quality defect reports, when required provide support to development engineers to aid in defect resolution.
- Develop and execute manual test cases.
- Take ownership of maintaining the suite of tests.
- Working in a fast-paced environment that requires agile, clear thinking for quick turnaround of accurate, high-quality deliverables while managing multiple priorities.
- Staying abreast of current technologies and industry trends. A techie at heart, you leverage all technology to its fullest.
- Finding innovative solutions to any problems that may arise, including working with developers to reproduce issues / defects.
- Using your excellent communication skills : the ability to clearly explain complex technical issues to colleagues and stakeholders, with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Must Have :
3 years of Manual Testing
2 years of experience in an Azure DevOps Environment
2 years of experience building a testing environment, virtualization, cloud, and container technologies.
