Position Description :
George Brown College is seeking a dynamic and experienced Organizational Development Senior Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a positive organizational culture, enhancing employee engagement, and driving organizational change.
This role will lead the design and implementation of programs and initiatives that promote leadership development, employee engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Development :
Design and implement comprehensive organizational development programs and activities.
Evaluate and improve human resources programming to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
Develop key strategies and programs, focusing on employee engagement Lead in thought leadership, identifying market trends and their implications.
Cultural and Employee Engagement :
Develop and implement leadership programs to identify and nurture future leaders.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions.
Employee listening strategy, including annual engagement survey, pulse surveys and other listening methods.
Design and execute employee engagement strategies based on data from surveys and assessments.
Ensure consistency in HR programming across the college.
Responsible for change management initiatives to enable employee and business performance.
Implement strategies to support employees through organizational changes and employee lifecycle.
Leverage available data to make data driven recommendations.
Leadership and Communication :
Manage a team, promoting strategic alignment, team wellness and continuous improvement.
Effectively communicate across multiple audiences, using different communications approaches. Provide expert OD coaching and facilitation.
Offer consultative services to various business units.
Negotiate and manage relationships with external vendors to ensure quality programs and services.
Manage and coordinate budget allocations and disbursements, ensuring financial integrity.
Collaborate with the Director to ensure effective resource utilization.
Other duties as assigned.
Educationaland Experience Requirements :
- Background in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related areas. Post-graduate program or Master’s in Industrial Psychology, Organization Development, or Human Resources are highly desirable.
- At least 7 years of advanced experience in organizational development, specifically in areas of leadership enhancement and organizational health.
- Demonstrated ability in crafting and executing programs focused on employee engagement and professional growth.
- Proven track record in leading and managing large-scale organizational initiatives.
- Extensive expertise in applying psychological assessments and approaches to advance workplace dynamics and talent management strategies.
- Skilled in developing initiatives that cultivate an inclusive work environment, enhance psychological safety, and uphold equity and diversity principles.

- Skilled in leading and managing change at an organizational level, with a strong focus on achieving results and making informed decisions.
