The Technical Project Manager, Testing & Integration, is responsible for overseeing and managing projects that span the testing, validation, and integration of new hardware products.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that these phases are completed on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing construction projects or significant projects in national labs, bringing
a robust understanding of structured project management practices to the team.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Coordinate project teams, including internal staff and external contractors, to
ensure effective execution of testing and integration tasks.
Monitor team performance, providing guidance and feedback to ensure project
milestones and standards are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the planning and implementation of project initiatives across testing,
validation, and integration stages of hardware development.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines and resource allocations, that align with overall project objectives.
- Manage project scope, identify potential bottlenecks or risks, and develop
mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.
Facilitate communication between various stakeholders, including engineering
teams, integration specialists, and external partners, to ensure clear understanding and cooperation on project requirements and updates.
Oversee the documentation of testing and integration processes and results,
ensuring comprehensive project records are maintained for review and compliance.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve project management methodologies and team capabilities.
Required Job Skills
Proven project management skills with experience in overseeing large-scale
projects, particularly in construction, national labs, or similar settings.

Computer Equipment and Software
- Proficient with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with databases and software used in testing and integration phases.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, ideally with specific
experience in technical fields such as construction
