First Truck Centre, doing business as Velocity Truck Centres, is currently accepting resumes for an experienced Mobile Service Technician for our Surrey BC branch.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate service truck in remote or customer worksites.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain OEM class 6,7, and 8 vehicles in the field
- Test systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults.
- Ensure professional quality detail and craftsmanship. Maintain efficient and accurate workmanship in a safe and professional environment.
- Implement workflow procedures and continuous improvement initiatives for the department.
Required Qualifications
- Strong aptitude for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance, with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
- Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician or Commercial Transport (Truck and Transport Mechanic).
- Heavy Truck and Trailer subject matter expert.
- Initiative-taker able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment.
- Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.
- Must have own tools (required tool list will be provided). Tool allowance provided.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Class 5 driver's license.
- Class 1, Class 3, and MVI Certifications are a bonus.(houlry rate uplifts if obtained)
