Responsibility :
Must ensure thatall customer purchase order requirements are clearly and conciselyoutlined in Work Orders and / or any subtier work instructions suchas drawings Job Travelers manufacturing plans inspection plans andothers.
Must ensure thatall Job travelers and work instructions clearly identify andoutline steps and details including their sequence which must befollowed in order to meet the requirements of the purchaseorder.
Must also ensure that any changesto these work instructions are duly signed off by the ProcessEngineeringSupervisor.
Must ensure thatwork instructions are clear concise and minimize the chances ofhumanerror.
Must ensure allwork instructions and methods of manufacture do not threaten thehealth and safety of any employees and / or visitors to theplant.
Must ensure thatmethods of manufacture and sequence of operations are chosen tomaximize efficiency and productivity with the given resources ofthecompany.
Must ensure thatnew technologies and methods of manufacturing testing qualitycontrol and maintenance are explored and considered or recommendedto the Process Engineering Supervisor and the General Manager forconsideration.
Must ensure thatthe plant has a Plant Layout which attempts to maximize productionefficiency and optimize material flow.
Must ensure this layout is periodically reviewed withthe Process Engineering Supervisor General Manager and / or Presidentfor adequacy and provides for future expansionneeds.
Must assist theProcess Engineering Supervisor to design and commission theproduction of jigs fixtures work holding devices and other itemswhich facilitate the manufacture ofproducts.
Must assist theProcess Engineering Supervisor provide engineering support and aidfor the entire manufacturing plant. This includes selection ofmachinery and equipment including modifications cutting tools workholding devices programming inspection and testing methods assemblyoutlays maintenance activities and other engineering relatedactivities on the machine shopfloor.
Must ensure anydiscrepancies in purchase order requirements and or problems inmanufacturing are communicated to the customer and actions ordispositions resulting are duly communicated and executed withintheCompany.
Must assists theProcess Engineering Supervisor to prepare detailed feasibilitystudies cost breakdowns and analysis for the manufacture of partsassemblies and providing services as directed by the GeneralManager and / or President.
Must ensurethese breakdowns are clear accurate and complete. Inaccuracies and incomplete breakdowns can : 1)jeopardize the Company s ability to be awarded contracts and / or 2)jeopardize the Company s ability to complete them asrequired.
Must generateManufacturing Plans in accordance with company procedures andrequirements to satisfy thecustomer
Must create workorders and generate Shop Travelers in theERP.
Must ensure allengineering information in the company is stored in an organizedmanner and controls are exercised and maintained asneeded.
Must ensure workand duties are performed in accordance with requirements outlinedin the QMS Manual and all subtier WorkInstructions.
Requirements
Qualification :
1.1 Must have aminimum of a bachelor s degree inmechanical / industrial / manufacturing / aerospace engineering orequivalent.
1.2 Must have fluentskills in reading writing and speaking the Englishlanguage.
1.3 Must have aminimum of 3year experience working as a process planner orengineer in a machine shopenvironment.
1.4 Must haveworking knowledge in Microsoft OfficeSuite.
1.5 Must haveworking experience inSolidWorks
Qualification : 1.1 Must have a minimum of a bachelor s degree inmechanical / industrial / manufacturing / aerospace engineering orequivalent.
1.2 Must have fluent skills in reading, writing, andspeaking the English language. 1.3 Must have a minimum of 3-yearexperience working as a process planner or engineer in a machineshop environment.
1.4 Must have working knowledge in MicrosoftOffice Suite. 1.5 Must have working experience inSolidWorks
