WHAT YOU WILL DO

This is an entry level role supporting Hyundai Auto Canada’s Quality Assurance team. The selected candidate will participate in quality investigations, vehicle evaluations and inspections, and administration of Special Service Tools and equipment, and GDS vehicle diagnostic equipment programs.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Conduct quality assurance activities including quality survey, winter testing, new vehicle inspection and generate QIRs.
• Analyze Quality issues in the field including participation in Go and See investigations and escalation with the North American Quality Center (NAQC).
• Aggregate warranty data, analyze trends and investigate root causes.
• Work with GSSC (Global Service Support Centre) to help resolve quality issues at HACC.
• Prepare QIRs and submit on GQIS. Collect associated parts and forward to appropriate factory.
• Prepare warranty claim and defective parts analysis.
• Maintain GDS and GSW sites to ensure continuous operation for dealer network.
• Support administration of the Special Service Tools and the Dealer Equipment Program
• Prepare new dealer start up kits comprising Various Service Department literature and tools & equipment.
• Participate in annual winter test sessions.
• Participate in new static and dynamic evaluations as required and ensure satisfactory preparation of PR and show vehicles.
• Support the publication of Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs).
• Conduct validation testing of TSB solutions including software updates, Labour Time Standards and Over the Air testing

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in the field of mechanical or automotive engineering
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in same or similar function.
• High level of industry-specific (automotive) technical knowledge
• Knowledge of automotive specialty tools i.e. scan tools, battery testers.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic skills.
• Highly experienced in Statistical Analysis.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• High level of problem solving skills.
• Ability to understand, interpret and communicate with data.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
