The Technical Sales Specialist, for our Pulp, Paper, Wood and Fibre group, plays a strategic role within the team by exerting a marked influence with industrial customers experiencing sometimes complex technical challenges.
You are a leading player in the sale of automation engineering products, services and solutions.
Your knowledge of automation brings essential value to the sales team through constant support during complex proposals. We operate in a highly competitive environment where your expertise in process application and your great interest in sometimes complex advanced technologies will provide valuable solutions for professional users in industries.
You are particularly comfortable in sales cycles that vary from 3 to 6 months, which requires a customer approach that inspires trust.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Your understanding of industries and industrial processes allows you to influence a market penetration strategy for automation solutions.
- You raise the level of technical expertise of the sales team so that they can in turn educate our customers on the positive impacts on their productivity, following the implementation of your automation solutions.
- Based on analysis, you identify the irritants and efficiency objectives of our customers.
- You advance your engineering solutions with conviction and promote the value of our products and services.
- Create the vision of the solution with the client.
- Establish credibility in relation to the solutions offered.
- Work closely with the inside sales team to create winning solutions.
- Assist in closing sales.
- You are a key player in achieving and exceeding sales objectives
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Technical diploma or bachelor's degree (mechanical, chemical)
- Knowledge of the industrial process environment
- Technical expertise in automation
- Understand and be comfortable with sales cycles of 6-12 months
- Communication skills, written and verbal, in French and English
