What you will do?
Collaborate with System Engineer & Software Architect in the development of the requirements with focus on SW.
Support the Software Architect in the development of the functional safety concept.
Review SW related safety requirements (SYS, SW). Maintain upstream / downstream traceability for software requirements (to System requirements, Architecture specifications, Design specifications).
Collaborate with the Software Architect to prepare information needed for SW safety analyses.
Perform / coordinate SW safety analyses (SW-FMEA, DFMEA & DFA) to identify potential failure modes & their impact on safety, develop & maintain SW safety analyses reports.
Provide guidance / support to software development teams on safety-related topics, including coding standards, testing methodologies & safety validation techniques.
What you will bring?
BSc in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent computer skills.
Ability to work in a cross-functional team with proven communication / collaboration skills.
Experience with Agile / Scrum / Jira.
Strong knowledge of functional safety standards such as ISO 26262. Knowledge of ASPICE.
Proficiency in safety analysis techniques such as FMEA, DFMEA & DFA.
Familiar with software development processes & methodologies, including V-model.
Good document & collaboration software understanding (Office, Teams, Confluence, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving & analytical skills, with the ability to identify & mitigate potential safety risks.
Minimum 5 years embedded software experience using C / C++.
Minimum 2 years embedded software experience for automotive safety-critical systems (ASIL B / C / D).
Experience with Python is an asset.
Good understanding of HW peripherals (GPIO, ADC, CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet).
Experience with Git, Gitflow, CI / CD, Jenkins, Artifactory.
Experience with decomposition of safety requirements / goals within software.
Experience with requirements traceability to system requirements & test procedures.
Experience with automotive safety-related standards (ASPICE, AUTOSAR, ISO 26262).
Experience with formal requirements & traceability tools (Polarion, DOORS, Jama, etc).
Software requirement certification (CPRE) or equivalent strongly preferred.
