Who we need
Right now we are adding a Shipper / Receiver to our team in MIssissauga. We need someone who is driven, adaptable and organized.
We are looking for a Shipper / Receiver who can work both heads-down taking inventory and arranging for outgoing shipments;
but who can also assemble equipment and liaise with our warehouse team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain training and insights into our industry and to be part of our mission to make life accessible for all.

What you will do
Shipping and Receiving Inventory. Every mobility device we process is custom to our clients, as a result we rely on our shipper / receivers to play an integral role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
Working with our shipping software, Navision, you will be responsible for shipping and receiving of goods and mobility equipment.
This will include creating shipping order and labels, packing custom orders, pulling inventory from shelves, cross docking of orders from other locations, ensuring courier pick up, receiving goods from suppliers or vendors and making certain the delivery was correct and undamaged.
Process Mobility Devices and Equipment. You will act as the gatekeeper for all our inventory and physical assets stored in the warehouse, ensuring proper storage and packing as it enters or exits the dock.
Using our pump trucks and flatbeds you will store, organize and manage our inventory. You will tag, price, store and organize all mobility devices, parts and tools within the warehouse.
This may require assisting to build or clean mobility devices such as wheelchairs, elevating equipment and power scooters.
Communication . Work with internal and external teams to ensure all inventory and shipments are correct and to make sure all shipping and receiving is coordinated.
What you bring
Education and Experience. You have a high school diploma and minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an inventory handling or a general warehouse role.
Communication Skills. You can clearly and concisely communicate in person, over the phone or on paper. You can provide outstanding customer service to any visitors or vendors who may be entering the warehouse.
Flexibility . You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects simultaneously. You are a true team player but can still work on your own with little supervision.
You will be required to work flexible daytime shifts and a rotation of Saturdays along with the other team members.
Additional Must Have Requirements. You are able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds in order to move or repair equipment and devices.
You have a clean criminal background check and are bondable.
