Cowan Insurance Group is looking for a qualified Account Manager for our Personal Insurance Department. This role is reporting to the Manager, Personal Insurance.
The successful candidate will provide service excellence to our Personal Insurance customers and insurance markets by servicing and maintaining the existing portfolio as well as pursuing new business.
You’re knowledgeable in the personal lines insurance industry with policies, products, and customer service. You’re a communicator with strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
You’re self-motivated and able to work independently and as a team.
What you will do :
- Completing coverage reviews and recommendations and addressing client concerns
- Service of personal lines insurance products
- Developing existing client accounts
What you will bring :
- 1 plus years of insurance experience.
- RIBO license required.
- CAIB or CIP designation (or working towards) would be an asset.
- Experience with EPIC would be an asset.
- Strong customer service and caring attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excelling in areas of negotiation.
- Demonstrates sound judgement, ethics and integrity.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize & adapt to work in a fast-paced environment.
