Summary :
TheController is a critical and important role for Keter Canada.Reporting to the Finance Director the Controller has theresponsibility to ensure proper Governance and Controls aremaintained within the business unit.
The individual will workalongside the Finance Director to complete all reporting andanalytical needs of the business unit.
A dottedline relationshipexists with the North American Controller ensuring that all sharedservice finance functions (AP Credit AR) adequately support theunit s business needs and that all corporate responsibilities aremet in a timely fashion.
The Controller will maintain externalrelationships with the CRA audit teams banks and local agencies toensure that the Canadian legal entity remains compliant and in goodstanding.
A successful candidate will leverage their handsonexperience to influence all functional areas within the business(Manufacturing Engineering HR Sales Finance etc) to ensure data andprocess accuracy throughout theorganization.
EssentialFunctions andResponsibilities :
- Overseethe monthly / quarterly close process
- Manage Cashcontrols forecasting and reporting
- Manage CRAand other agency audits and inquires
- Manage allbanking relationships and processes
- Manage allexternal audit inquiries (quarterly / annual) with support ofFinancial Analyst
- Manage the external Tax firmto ensure corporate compliance
- Support theFinance Director in the annual Budget process and Quarterly reviewprocess
- Prepare weekly cash reporting andforecasting
- Manage Capital Expenditure controlsforecasting and reporting (with Engineeringsupport)
- Maintain analyze and reconcile theGeneral Ledger accounts (with NA controller steam)
- Quarterly Transfer Price review analysisand reporting
- Vendor and Customer datamanagement as required
- Support the central ARand AP teams as required
- Support the HR& Payroll functions as required and determine monthlyprovisions
- Work closely with departmentmanagers in analyzing plant activities and costs (eg. productionefficiencies bill of materials maintenance spendetc.)

- CPAdesignation and at least 3 years of manufacturing industryexperience
- Indepth SAP experience in amanufacturing setting
