NT Power is a local electricity distribution company serving almost 50,000 customers in Newmarket, Tay, and Midland. Jointly owned by the Municipalities of Newmarket and Tay, NT Power is headquartered in Newmarket, Ontario, with an additional office in Midland, Ontario making it geographically diverse in the communities it serves.
NT Power is in search of a President & Chief Executive Officer with the experience and vision to lead the utility through an unprecedented industry transformation.
As electricity demand is expected to increase rapidly in the coming years, NT Power is looking for someone who can bring innovative solutions to meet evolving customer expectations and shareholder objectives.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for the vision, strategy, inspirational leadership, and management of all aspects of the company, including financial performance, environmental performance, and safety.
Known for promoting customer-centric values while also prioritizing enterprise value and innovation for future growth, the ideal candidate should have executive experience in a utility or related field.
With demonstrated success leading an organization in a regulated environment, the candidate must have the ability to establish corporate goals that align with the strategic direction and lead the executive team in executing that vision.
As the successful candidate, you are passionate about a utility’s role in the coming energy transition and can inspire and galvanize others around a mission and vision.
You have been a part of M&A activity and have led effective business integrations. You possess strong business and financial acumen, are creative and innovative, adept at problem solving, and highly collaborative.
You are a clear communicator and develop positive and productive stakeholder relationships.
