Your new role
The Senior Financial Analyst, Sales & Marketing will report to the Director of Operations Finance and will be a key player within the Finance team, supporting and partnering with the Sales and Marketing teams to profitably grow the business.
The primary responsibility is to provide best-in-class analytics and controls to augment customer and product profitability.
The Senior Financial Analyst, Sales & Marketing additional responsibilities include identifying pricing opportunities (by preparing customer / product price / profitability analyses, evaluating different pricing strategies, partnering with Marketing to reviewpetitor pricing and conductparative analytics), cash improvement initiatives and trade spend management in order to maximize profitability.
The role will also contribute to improve thepany’s internal systems and processes to maintain high controls and improve decision making support tools.
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accountingbined with 5+ years experience in a related FP&A role where you will have provided business partnering to sales and marketing teams.
You will have worked within a consumer products, pharma or retail operation. Working towards or holding apleted Canadian CPA designation is required.
The position is highly interactive and requires strongmunication and interpersonal skills. Advanced Excel skills and prior experience with an ERP system are required,bined with the ability to build models and manage large volumes of data.
You will be an independent worker, able to investigate issues, find solutions and run with an initiative with limited guidance.
