Job Description
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, fungible, innovative technologist with good communication skills who’s willing to get their hands dirty whilst not losing sight of the bigger picture.
This role will collaborate cross functionally to develop our target state Data protection Automation Framework and supporting organization model;
along with the platform roadmap required to achieve that target state and help deliver a multiyear platform strategy adjusting to new technologies and requirements as they evolve.
Responsibilities :
Develop enterprise data security technology solutions and facilitate decision with other teams within the organization.
Executes Proof of Concepts and feasibility studies to validate next-gen product concepts and technologies leveraging results to guide business and technology decisions.
Enforce adherence to architectural standards / principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
Work with product owners and other functional teams to translate the roadmap into releases. Keep abreast of and gain expertise in the evolving technology and understand how new technologies could be applied to our existing data protection offerings.
Stay current with security trends and incorporate emerging technology to benefit the platform.
Research, test and understand the value of a containerized offerings.
Required Skills :
At least 3-5 years of experience working with Agile development practices and test-driven development
Working knowledge of Data protection tools and services such as BigID, Netskope, Symantec etc
Software Development experience with Python / Java and associated libraries
Experience developing APIs in a microservice environments
Hands-on experience with K8s platform and containerized applications.
Hands-on experience with CI / CD toolchains such as Maven / Jenkins
Excellent verbal communication skills
Very strong analytical skills
Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline
Desired Skills :
Experience in Linux UNIX systems
Experience with Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Programing Experience with Python, NodeJS, Angular, Terraform, Java
