General Purpose of the Position :
Our client is seeking a Maintenance and CMMS Coordinator to oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities, with a key focus on managing and optimizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
This role supports operational teams by ensuring that maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and in alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Utilize CMMS tools to track, schedule, and manage all preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate asset records and work order history using the CMMS.
Coordinate and monitor vendor activities to ensure compliance with service agreements and company standards.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of maintenance schedules, asset management, and task logs as new equipment is brought online.
Verify completion of maintenance tasks and review vendor invoices for approval.
Support documentation and administrative tasks related to maintenance plans and updates.
Other Duties :
Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance requests as needed.
Conduct periodic site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to safety protocols.
Collaborate with regional teams on CMMS enhancements and updates.
Required Job Skills :
Proficiency in using CMMS tools to manage maintenance activities.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with SLAs.
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems such as transformers, generators, and cooling systems.
Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and ability to interpret technical drawings.
Education and Experience :
Certification : PMP, MMP, or related certifications preferred but not required.
Education : HS Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
Experience : 5+ years of experience in facilities management, maintenance planning, or a related field.
Physical Demands :
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Occasionally lift and move up to 10 pounds.
