A successful candidate will : Possess or be in the process of attaining a British Columbia Professional Teaching Certificate.
Be eligible to work in British Columbia. Be willing to receive guidance from a mentor. Know effective strategies for and be familiar with UDL and place-based learning.
Candidates should be interested in including learning opportunities outside the classroom on the school grounds or off-site.
Be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents. Have strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Communicate a biblical worldview throughout all subjects. Please send a cover letter, resume and statement of faith. The statement of faith would include a description of your relationship with Jesus, references and a philosophy of Christian education describing how your belief in Jesus and Christian worldview impact your planning, instruction, assessment, classroom ethos and professional relationships with other staff, students and parents.
