We're looking for an experienced Industrial Designer to join our dynamic team in LaSalle. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to lead design projects that combine creativity with technical expertise, shaping the future of product design in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
What You'll Do : - Lead Design Projects : Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring the successful launch of both signature and custom-designed products for major clients.
- Collaborate Globally : Work closely with our Product Development teams across the globe, transforming your creative ideas into tangible products.
- Product Design & Development : Create and refine detailed 3D models using industry-leading design software like Rhino, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
Develop technical drawings and prototypes to bring your designs to life.- Innovative Research & Development : Stay at the forefront of industry trends by conducting research to develop cutting-edge, user-centered products.
- Cross-functional Teamwork : Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure that your designs are feasible, functional, and meet production standards.
- Cost & Production Management : Oversee cost analysis, RFQs, and vendor management to ensure that designs are produced on time and within budget.
- Quality Control : Work with global quality assurance teams to maintain top-tier product standards throughout the production process.
- Client Engagement : Communicate with clients to ensure their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the final product design.
- Catalog Contributions : Help prepare product catalogs and other marketing materials, ensuring accurate representation of the design and features.
- What You Bring : - Experience : 3+ years of experience in product design, industrial design, or a related field.- Design Software Proficiency : Expertise in 3D modeling and rendering software (Rhino is essential;
experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar software is a plus).- Creativity & Innovation : A proven ability to translate creative ideas into practical designs that push the boundaries of what's possible.
- Project Management : Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team Collaboration : A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment and can seamlessly coordinate with international teams.
