Established in 2014, Experior Financial is a unique Tri-Brid JT1 , Managing General Agency (MGA) that offers a wide range of financial products and services to individuals, families, and businesses.
With continued exponential growth and international expansion on the horizon, Experior Financial is seeking a Vice President, Information Technology to join its leadership team.
Reporting to the President & Co-founder, The Vice President, IT will be responsible for building a technology team from the ground up, managing a large complement of outsourced software development and operations resources, developing and executing the overall IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, and managing all aspects of the company's application of business applications to grow the businesses of a large insurance agent and financial advisor network.
This role will be crucial in supporting the organization's rapid growth and international expansion.
You will lead and manage all IT functions, including infrastructure, applications, security, and data management. Additionally, you will oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of new technologies and systems to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
You will also be responsible to implement best practices for IT governance, risk management, and disaster recovery. You will make strategic decisions on the future balance of outsourced and in-house technical resources to maximize cost effectiveness, access to talent, and the resilience of the company with respect to dependence on third party relationships.
You will plan and implement the technology aspects of opening new Experior business locations in foreign countries in partnership with the Experior senior management team.
As a highly qualified candidate, you should have minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
Additionally, you bring proven experience in the insurance industry and / or related financial services or agent related business models.
You also have an expertise in cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. You have a people-oriented personality and proven track record of building and maintaining effective teams.
You are highly organized, detail oriented and have a natural disposition toward managing and advancing change with a strong sense of urgency.
You are a results-oriented professional with proven interpersonal, analytical skills and a bias for action.
