HRIS Manager
Role : HRIS Manager (Maternity Cover)
Contract Duration : 11 months
Start Date : Immediate (for handover purposes)
Location : Remote (EST, Canada)
Key Responsibilities :
- Workday Expertise : At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Workday configuration and maintenance, including reporting tools and employee lifecycle transactions.
- HRIS Implementation : Proven track record in implementing HR systems and managing enhancements, such as bulk data loads, acquisitions, and configuration updates.
- Analytical and Reporting Skills : Advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables), strong data analysis capabilities, and experience in developing sophisticated reporting solutions.
- Project Management : Skilled in project monitoring, scope management, and delivering enhancements aligned with HRIS strategy.
- Problem-Solving and Communication : Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration : Ability to work closely with internal teams, global HR teams, and external partners to resolve issues and deliver projects.
- Development and Training : Train end users, document workflows, and maintain system integrity while driving process improvements and efficiencies.
What You’ll Need to Succeed :
- Previous experience in implementing HR systems in similar organizations and at a similar scale.
- Demonstrated ability with HRIS systems and processes (including employee lifecycle transactions), reporting tools, and working with business stakeholders in a cross-functional environment.
- Essential Workday experience (minimum 2 years of proven experience handling Workday configuration and maintenance).
- Proficiency with MS Project.
Preferred Skills :
- Familiarity with HR and payroll processes.
- Project management or HR / IT certifications (preferred but not essential).
- Experience with system testing, user acceptance testing, and data integrity audits.
