We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our WPS Canada team, based in Mississauga, Ontario Canada. This full-time position is an opportunity for a self-motivated hard-working individual to make an immediate impact and contribution by performing sales & marketing tasks that will help a well-established company to generate sales opportunities with prospective new accounts while also assisting with executing a customer retention and customer care program.

This role will afford the candidate the opportunity to learn about many aspects of customer service, marketing, and sales by being placed in the middle of the action.

What you will do

Participate in customer outreach program, with primary goals to : Inform customers about latest WPS technology innovations;

Promote purchases of parts, supplies and service contracts; Request feedback about our customers’ current and future needs.

  • Perform market research and prospecting for target market segments.
  • Assist with development of advertising materials, promotional programs, public relations and website content development and website search engine optimization.
  • Assist with development, implementation and optimization of a B2B social media marketing program.
  • Assist in preparing and executing marketing plan for industry trade organizations, with key focus to identify opportunities for WPS to exhibit and attend industry conferences and trade shows.
  • Assist WPS sales team with preparation of WPS proposal packages, in response to formal Request For Proposals and Tender opportunities, and to submit quotations in response to requests for quotations.

What we are looking for

Essential Qualifications :

  • An effective and persuasive communicator in both oral and written English.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong presentation skills in one-on-one meetings and in group settings.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to deliver on time when placed under deadlines.
  • Minimum University Undergraduate Degree or College Diploma.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office software applications.
  • Working knowledge of website software development tools.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn

Desirable Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in business-to-business inside sales related to enterprise software solutions that reside within complex, large scale network environments.
  • Digital marketing program certification
  • Bilingual (French and English languages)
  • Previous experience working in the parking access & revenue control business or a related industry, Security Access Control, Building Control Systems.
  • Industry experience with website development and content management.
  • Industry experience with management of social media campaigns, particularly LinkedIn
  • Industry experience with use of Enterprise level Customer Relationship Management tools, Salesforce.
