I am looking for a controller for my client, a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent position in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
Under the responsibility of the Director of Accounting, the controller will have the following main tasks :
- Manage the financial, administrative and regulatory operations of the Tremcar group
- Manage audits and ensure quality control of these files
- Manage legal documents
- Prepare, analyze and present financial statements
- Prepare and coordinate quarterly presentations
- Actively participate in financial modeling - Budget and projection
- Active cash management (13 weeks)
- Manage, supervise, train and support the team
- Contributor to the optimization of financial, administrative functions and FP&A tools
- Professional title in accounting, (CPA);
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Mastery of accounting principles and financial standards;
- Bilingualism, written and spoken, required (more than 90% of distributors and customers are English-speaking);
- Sharp sense of analysis and attention to detail;
- Experience in team management;
