Job Title : Scrum Master

Location : Toronto, ON

Duration : 12 months Contract (Extension, Conversion Possible)

Work Type : Hybrid, onsite twice a week.

Pay Range : $75 - $90 / Hr

About the Role :

As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in driving Agile adoption and delivering high-quality products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Scrum Mastery :
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective)
• Remove impediments and coach the team to self-organization
• Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and practices
• Agile Coaching :
• Mentor and coach team members in Agile methodologies and mindset
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation
• Foster a culture of collaboration and transparency
• Stakeholder Management :
• Collaborate with product owners, development teams, and other stakeholders
• Communicate effectively and proactively with all levels of the organization
• Resolve conflicts and negotiate solutions to ensure project success

Required Skills and Experience :

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills and Experience :

• Experience in financial crime or cyber security
• Background in banking or financial services
