Wood is currently seeking an intermediate Cost Controller to join our Power Solutions business in Vancouver, BC. Reporting directly to the Project Services Manager, this role will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the cost of our services on a variety of project types.
Salary range - $80,000-$100,000

Final salary will be based on relevant and applicable experience, education, and the specific skill set and qualifications required for the role.
- 2 to 5 years of progressive cost control, project coordinator or project services experience, preferably in an engineering or construction environment, including a familiarity with managing large amounts of data, cost reporting and earned value management
- Proven ability to work at an advanced level with all Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel)
- A demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in project management and project controls techniques and principles
- Solid organization, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment including client liaison
- Demonstrated analytical and adaptive thinking
- Innovative problem solving skills
- Detail and results oriented with the capacity to successfully manage multiple and competing priorities and timelines
- Knowledge and experience with Enterprise Systems such as SAP or Oracle is desirable
- A degree from a recognized university in engineering or a recognized business program is preferred
