RT Medical Job Description

RT Medical is looking for a Physiotherapist to join our clinic. As a Physiotherapist, you will provide clinical professional practice both independently and as a part of a collaborative team.

You will be responsible for providing prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management.

You will participate in planning, coordination and delivery of rehabilitation services in collaboration with patients / clients, families, healthcare professionals and other partners.

As a Physiotherapist with our team, you will :

  • Provide PT services; Including assessment and management of physical impairments or disabilities with the aim of enhancing and restoring functional abilities and quality of life within the context of an interprofessional team
  • Formulate and implement individualized client centered goals based on the analysis and assessment findings and consistent with team goals
  • Identify and address educational needs for patients and their families who require support
  • Help patients who are having trouble with functional independence, movement, and physical activity to maximize patient quality of life

What you bring :

  • Master's Degree in Physiotherapy, or equivalent, required
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Physical Therapists of Ontario for practice in all applicable clinical areas
  • Membership in the Canadian Association of Physiotherapists and the Physiotherapy Association of Ontario is an asset
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience

You will also have :

  • Skills in technology and experience with various EMR's and Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to work in unique, fast-paced environments
  • Good knowledge PT theory and practice
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening communication, and teamwork skills
  • Excellent critical thinking, synthesis, organizational and decision-making skills
  • High adaptability capacity
  • Registration in other provinces is an asset
