We are currently hiring for a contract I.T Field Service Technician job in Calgary, AB. You must have min 1 year of experience in this role and have a strong knowledge of Windows 7.
Experience in Desktop Support, Laptops, Servers, Printers, Hardware Support, and iMac. POS experience is a plus but not required.
The ideal candidate would have good communication skills, be customer-friendly, and should be comfortable traveling long distances.
Start Date : November (TBD)
Hours of operation : 8am - 6pm
Duration :
- Lead Tech required for 9 days.
- 2nd tech required for 7 days
- 3rd tech required for 5 days.
Responsibilities :
- It's an office move so equipment from old office needs to be removed and moved to new location;
- Uninstall monitors, docking stations, phone and cables at the desks.
- Record serial numbers and move hardware to assigned location for the movers to pack up.
- Installing on monitor arms new dock mouse keyboard.
Requirements :
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma and college or university enrollment / degree.
- Excellent technical knowledge of hardware and Windows 7, and Windows 10 operating systems.
- Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
- Familiar with personal computers / printers / wireless connectivity devices.
- Possession of car for travel between locations.
- Android 4.4+ or Apple iOS9+ or Windows Phone 8+ including a data package to receive emails and instant messaging.
- Ability to lift a 50 lbs. box from the floor to a tabletop surface.
