What you will do :
The Director of Sales is directly responsible for driving all sales functions and operations within their area of responsibility (region).
This individual is responsible for leading and guiding the Fuel Consultants within their area of responsibility to achieve sales goals, developing distribution channels, building strategic business relationships, and providing vision for all sales strategies and their execution.
The Director of Sales is also responsible for containing the costs of selling in order to achieve predetermined profit yields.
Major Job Functions :
- Devise and deploy all sales goals and objectives across their region, including the preparation of sales quotas and budgets.
- Integrate and align sales strategies with available talent, processes, IT systems, and other areas to increase sales force capabilities and success.
- Develop and implement monthly, quarterly and / or annual sales plans, policies, and programs for all Fuel Consultants.
- Manage the activities and performance of all Fuel Consultants & Account Managers.
Specific Skills and Knowledge :
- Excellent understanding and proven ability for brand building and articulation of value propositions.
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
- Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
- Able to maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
Education & Experience :
- Three to Five years direct work experience in a senior sales management capacity.
- Experience creating incentive and compensations plans for a commissioned workforce.
