OTHERTASKS
TheBusinessConsultantmustperformthefollowingtasksifrequiredbytheProjectAuthority :
- Considerbestpracticesinothergovernmentdepartments;
- EnsureconsistencywithGovernmentof Canadapolicyframeworksandinitiatives;
- TakeintoaccounttheimpactsoftransformativeactivitieshappeningwithinDNDandtheGovernmentatlarge;
- Engagerelevantpartiesasappropriateinthedevelopmentoffinalproducts;
- Identify optionsforbusinessmodelsandidentify opportunitiestostrengthen,reform,andrealign duties tobuildstrength;
- Proposerealignmentofrolesandresponsibilitiessoastomeettheneedsoftransformationwhileachievingtargetingresourcereductions;
- Identifyriskstotheimplementationofproposals,together withriskmitigationstrategies;and
- Developimplementationstrategieswhererequired.
Qualifications
- Must clearly demonstrate that theproposedresourcehasbeentheChiefFinancialOfficer (CFO) forat least three (3) years in theGovernmentof Canada within the last ten (10)yearsandaCIOinthepublicorprivatesector withinthepastfifteen(15)years
- Must clearly demonstrate that theproposed resource has a minimum of ten(10)yearsofexperienceinthelastfifteen(15)yearsproviding strategic advice and directionforfinancialorcorporatemanagementsystems to seniormanagementinthePublic Sector.
- Mustclearlydemonstratethattheproposed resource has three (3) years ofexperience in the business transformationofSAP based financial systems withinthe lastten(10years)within the Governmentof Canada.
- Must clearly demonstrate that theproposed resource has at least ten (10)years’experience within the last(15) years at theSeniorManagementlevelindevelopingabroadrange of processes and policies in anInformation Management / InformationTechnology / EnterpriseTransformation environment.
