As a Service Technician, you will repair washers and dryers at various customer locations. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working independently and has a very strong mechanical aptitude.

Estimated Salary : 26.54 to $32.28 per hour based on qualifications and experience. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities.

Responsibilities :

• Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc.
• Disassembles machines and examines mechanical and electrical parts.
• Reassembles appliances, adjusts pulleys, and lubricates moving parts.
• Replaces worn or defective parts and adjusts motors.
• Cleans and washes parts.
• Advises Dispatch Department of equipment in the field that should be replaced with new equipment.
• Drives a Company vehicle to and from work locations.
• Collect coins from each machine with 100% accuracy.
• Accurately and legibly record machine counter readings.
• Complete the collection route by the end of each day.
• Perform collections at all locations during the designated 30, 60 or 90-day collection cycles.

Requirements :

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 2-4 years of related experience and / or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly / hand truck.
• Prior washer / dryer repair experience is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good driving record.
• Customer service skills.
• Must possess effective English communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to read and understand road maps, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy and procedure manuals.
• Basic knowledge of AVS procedures.
