THE ROLE
Qualifications
- Minimum grade 10 education is required.
- Able to operate equipment safely and perform heavy lifting tasks and visual acuity for inspecting linen and to ensure cleaning tasks are performed to standard.
- Some experience in institutional housekeeping / laundry is desirable.
THE INDIVIDUAL WHO WILL SUCCEED
- Performs all cleaning, sanitation, floor care and project assignments.
- Maintains equipment, tools in clean, sanitary and good operating condition.
- Maintains housekeeping / laundry areas in sanitary, attractive & orderly condition.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
