Senior Web Developer

We're looking for a Senior Web Developer who has mastered development across the technology stack and has a penchant for the front-end.

You will report to the Operations Manager of the Analytics Centre of Excellence to help us interface and manipulate our advanced analytics products.

In this role, you will have a major impact on web product development and development practice. You will have the ability to recommend technologies and influence the web stack for the Analytics Centre of Excellence development practice.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO :

• Mentor the existing development team through code reviews and coaching sessions.
• Implement best practices for releases, CI / CD and automated testing.
• Create a website interfacing our advanced analytics data and offering applicative functionality.
• Contribute to all the technologies (tech stack) used for custom web development within the team.
• Recommend possible improvements to our tools developed in React.js and Python.
• Work with the Agile Scrum methodology with a team that applies it brilliantly, including a product owner, scrum master and other contributors.
• Make it easier to digitize manual internal processes using a solution that you will develop with the rest of the team.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES :

• More than 5 years of relevant experience in web development using javascript frameworks.
• Experience in web development (client) with React.js.
• Experience in web development (server) with a relevant language such as Node.js, PHP, Python, .Net, Java or Ruby.
• Interest in the correct implementation of solutions using automated tests and CI / CD pipelines.
• Ability to propose technical solutions to support the desired functionalities.
• Interest in working on web development projects in advanced analytics, machine learning and data science.
• A passion for teamwork in an Agile Scrum environment.
