Your new role
The open role is for a Project Manager (Civil) focused on foundations. This individual will report to the VP and will be responsible for the operation and financial performance of select foundation projects across the Greater Toronto Area.
The role will be located out of our client's Toronto office. The Foundations Project manager will oversee quality, material and sub-trade management for their assigned projects as well as ensure project safety standards are met.
They will construct a project management team including coordinators and ensure clear responsibilities are defined and met.
This PM will maintain contact with major clients and unions and ensure that all activity on the project is in line with corporate and divisional strategy.
Finally, they will collaborate with the Superintendent and Operations Manager to support any crew or project needs for the site.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have 7 10 years working in civil construction with a focus on the foundations industry. They will have a minimum of 5 years of full cycle project management experience and have the ability to lead and manage a small team.
They will be able to plan, schedule, and balance resources for a wide range of project sizes. This Project Manager will have a solid understanding of estimation, project forecasting and change management.
Strong computer skills in MS Project is imperative with experience in SAP as an asset. Finally, the PM will be able to work within both the office and the site and have strong organizational and time-management skills.
What you'll get in return
The successful Project Manager candidate will receive a competitive base salary from $135,000 - $175,000 dependent on experience, a bonus, full comprehensive benefits, and much more!
