Job Description
As a Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and enhancing its online reputation.
This multifaceted position offers a unique blend of creative marketing tasks and essential operational support. You’ll be at the forefront of social media management, content creation, and customer engagement, while also providing crucial administrative backup.
This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a significant impact in the vacation rental industry.
Responsibilities
- Craft and manage engaging content for Instagram and TikTok to boost brand awareness and attract property owners and travelers
- Edit captivating videos to showcase properties and local attractions
- Design and distribute newsletters to keep stakeholders informed and engaged
- Maintain and optimize property listings across platforms like Airbnb, Booking, and Verbo
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including organizing invoices in Dext
- Provide top-notch live chat support for travelers, especially during peak seasons
- Help create and standardize documents and checklists for property owners
- Manage inventory and order supplies for properties as needed
- Support various administrative tasks and data collection to streamline operations
Requirements
- Proficiency in Canva and other design tools for creating eye-catching marketing content
- Proven experience in social media management, particularly Instagram and TikTok
- Video editing skills to produce engaging property showcases
- Strong written communication skills for crafting compelling newsletters and property descriptions
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle traveler inquiries professionally
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a growing business environment
- Passion for travel and hospitality industry is a bonus
