We are the leading provider of Academic-Dental software solutions in North America with clients located around the world.

Our products enable education institutions to train the next generation of dental professions to deliver dental care to a variety of markets, including the underserved and uninsured.

Our core on-premises product is powering over 90% of the market and our cloud product is targeted for 300% growth over the next 12 months.

To continue building on our success and achieve those goals, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager who brings demonstrated expertise in product management and a market centric mindset to add to our axiUm product team.

Foremost you will be the voice of the customer. You will strive to understand our customer’s world and pain points, then work collaboratively with other internal stakeholder groups to deliver best-in-class solutions to the market.

You will have a demonstrated track record of working within agile product teams, from concept through design, a focus on delivery pre and post launch within the product life cycle.

In this role you will engage with customers and prospects to gather other data to inform the product direction and strategy.

You will contribute to the product roadmap and work with the Product and Engineering teams to deliver valuable benefits to customers through each release.

You are data driven and strive to secure and report on analytics that are indicative of success and achieving goals. Working with the Product team, you will share your knowledge and help coach other team members, working collaboratively with a broad group of internal and external stakeholders to solve problems.

Key Results :

  • Drive the success of our axiUm product roadmap and vision, by evaluating, defining, and prioritizing features and coordinating activities around epics and stories by collaborating with stakeholders on delivery
  • Communicate our value proposition by working with customers, prospects and knowledgeable third parties
  • Enable go-to-market success through directing resources, planning to ensure readiness and delivery on execution
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen when developing business cases to support feature development
  • Collaborate with engineering and development to coordinate smooth product release, delivery, and support setting technology direction
  • Utilize business processes analyses to understand customer business drivers and translate them into functional requirements
  • Support the product owner function at Exan through effective release planning and retrospective participation
  • Enable rapid adoption of new functionality by supporting training material creation
  • Enable customer success by being a trusted partner for resolving escalations and requests
  • Demonstrate a customer focus through owning and leading product reviews

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Management function
  • Some experience with SCRUM and Agile development methodologies
  • Experience in building and maintaining roadmaps
  • Experience with go-to-market planning and execution
  • Demonstrated competence and proficiency with project management principles
  • Proven ability with understanding industry practices and concepts
  • Planning / organizational skills and techniques
  • Decision making, analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Presentation and public speaking skills
  • Demonstrated ability with developing professional credibility
  • Professional knowledge of enterprise application design and solutions

The posted range for this position is between CAD $126,000 - CAD $146,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient and experienced in the role.

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, training, current skills, certifications & education etc.
