The Role : Your Next Big Adventure
As a Maintenance Power Engineer / HVAC Operator, you'll be the heartbeat of our critical infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure our data centers operate like a well-oiled machine, with zero downtime and maximum efficiency.
From routine maintenance to emergency responses, you'll be at the forefront, tackling challenges head-on and delivering top-notch service.
What You'll Do :
- Masterfully manage preventative and corrective maintenance to keep systems running smoothly
- Create and maintain precise technical documentation for easy reference and compliance
- Diagnose and resolve system issues with lightning speed to minimize downtime
- Oversee data center infrastructure and asset management to ensure optimal performance
- Ensure compliance with the highest industry standards for safety and quality
- Lead change management initiatives and optimize operations for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to maintain peak operational efficiency
- Uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service and site cleanliness
Working Conditions :
- Rotating schedule : 4 days on, 3 days off, then 3 days on, 4 days off
- On-call rotations : Be ready for action in critical incidents
- Flexible hours : Including evenings, nights, and weekends
- Physical demands : Lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work at heights
Who You Are : The Perfect Fit
Experience :
- 4+ years in high-stakes environments like data centers
- Strong background in Electrical & Mechanical systems
- Hands-on experience with BMS / EPMS / BAS systems and ITIL principles
- Power Engineer
Skills and Abilities :
- Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal
- Meticulous attention to detail with a passion for precision
- In-depth knowledge of Data Center Tiering and thermal guidelines
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Expert troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues
- Deep understanding of power distribution, power engineering, emergency generator systems, HVAC, and control systems
Qualifications :
- Electrical and mechanical certifications are a plus
- CPR, AED, AWP certifications
- Eligibility for Reliability Clearance Status
Security :
Must pass a background check and obtain security clearance
