The Regional Manager is responsible for leading the strategic direction of their regional team, ensuring safe, effective operational delivery with a client-centered focus.
Operating in a diverse and competitive environment, the Regional Manager will provide leadership with a priority focus on client service and delivery to drive successful client outcomes for continued growth and success.
Collaboration with other functional and support teams (Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Safety, etc.), regional offices and other stakeholders will be vital to keeping open lines of communication, ensuring safe, effective, and high standard of service delivery.

What would you be doing?
- Provides leadership for multi-location office and consulting employees, focusing on recruitment, orientation, performance management, employee engagement, development, and succession planning.
- Manages all aspects of operational and project planning, including workload forecasting, profit and loss (P&L), budgeting, expense management, resource sharing, and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Ensures compliance with Alberta’s guidelines for site assessment, remediation, and reclamation while fostering a high-performing project delivery culture.
- Collaborates with direct reports to identify operational deficiencies and opportunities, implementing recommendations and action plans to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Leads the development and execution of strategic business strategies, including business plans aligned with corporate objectives and initiatives for business growth in environmental services.
- Implements and enforces corporate safety programs, promoting a culture of health and safety, proactively addressing hazards, and ensuring timely completion of administrative tasks, including claims and invoices.

Qualifications
- Over 10 years of environmental consulting experience, including more than 5 years in a leadership role, supported by a Technical Diploma or University Degree in environmental science or a related field.
- Eligibility for professional designation and additional education in business management, project management, or related technical specialties.
- Competent in reviewing technical reports for assessment, remediation, and reclamation, including signing and stamping documents for regulatory submission.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with skills in forecasting, resource planning, and profit and loss (P&L) management.
- Exceptional leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, combined with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in planning and controlling work in a multi-project, deadline-driven environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and strong teamwork and conflict resolution capabilities.
