TWD is currently looking for a P iping Designer located in Calgary or Edmonton, AB. Willing to go to site as needed. Duties & Responsibilities Assist in piping design layout Prepare related engineering drawings Interact with contractors and coworkers to coordinate piping project execution Perform redline revisions to the original AutoCAD drawings or other electronic versions Assist designers and engineers with design drawings and client requirements Checking of piping packages for quality assurance Field work as required Other duties as assigned Qualifications Technical diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution (Mechanical, Piping, or related background) 5 to 10 years of piping design experience Experience with CADWorx is essential.
Experience with other 3D modeling software such as AutoPlant, or OpenPlant would be an asset. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) Experience in oil and gas, refinery or petrochemical environment would be an asset Some familiarity with various design codes would be an asset (ASME B31.
