MatchBox Consulting Group is currently in search of a skilled MEP Specialist to join a reputable construction firm located in Vancouver, BC.
This company is widely recognized for its excellence in delivering top-tier projects spanning commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors.
As an MEP Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of mechanical and electrical systems throughout construction endeavors.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the coordination and assessment of mechanical and electrical systems data critical for project completion.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
- Conduct in-depth reviews to optimize constructability and value engineering for MEP systems.
- Assist in formulating project budgets, evaluating tender packages, and forecasting costs.
- Actively chair M&E meetings, addressing technical complexities and ensuring project advancement.
- Monitor and manage material and labor costs associated with mechanical and electrical components.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to facilitate smooth project transitions.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with 5-10 years of experience in MEP specialization within the construction industry.
- Extensive expertise across diverse project typologies.
- Proficiency in utilizing various software applications for project management.
- Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities.
