Reporting to the Superintendent, Loadout, the incumbent will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support in order to ensure that department services are provided in an effective and efficient manner.
The Administrative Assistant is involved with the coordination and implementation of office procedures and has responsibility for specific projects and tasks.
In this role you will perform routine clerical and administrative functions such as; filing and record keeping, scheduling appointments, meeting organization and guest arrangements.
Most work will involve both written and oral communication and requires the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
What you will do :
Provide office management support including typing, photocopying, arranging luncheons, repairs / servicing of office equipment, ordering all office stationary and supplies, mail handling, maintaining bulletin boards, etc.
Assist in updating procedures and manuals on organizational networks
Utilize SAP skills to assist with the department training, cost stewardship, work order development, requisitioning, invoice resolution, employee expenses and budget development
Perform bookkeeping and raw material balancing for Sulphur deliveries to site
Coordination of the site fuel program
Demonstrate communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills while working independently to handle deadlines in an ever-changing area
Provide support and reporting to other areas of the site as required
What you will bring :
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in SAP
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Teams
