We’re looking for a Warehouse & Fulfillment Supervisor to join our team based
in Vancouver, BC. This individual will report to the Fulfillment Manager.
Job Overview : As a Warehouse & Fulfillment Supervisor, you will oversee the receipt, handling and storage of all raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
You will be responsible for the supervision and performance management of a team of warehouse associates, while maintaining operations with established standards for cost, quality, efficiency, and safety.
The Warehouse and Fulfillment supervisor will supervise two facilities (Kingsway and Chester Warehouse), focusing on raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
You will have the opportunity to :
- Oversee order confirmation and shipment of finished goods by trucks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead and coach warehouse associates to maintain loading and receiving accuracy, collaborate with supervisors to manage inventory flow, and meet dock schedules.
- Conduct inventory audits to identify and resolve variances, ensuring proper controls are in place, while maintaining safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
- Participate in logistics daily operations reviews, coach associates in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Ensure proper use of Extended Warehouse Management system, maximizing storage and labor efficiencies.
- Support manager in creating and implementing departmental operating and strategic plans, oversee team development during peak seasons, and manage the hourly employee lifecycle, including hiring, training, timesheets, and performance management.
You will be a good fit if you have :
- Bachelor's / associate degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics, operations or relevant on the job experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- 2+ years directly or indirectly leading a team of hourly employees.
- Experience in using WMS or labor management system
- Open availability you are flexible and adaptable with schedule, i.e working holidays, some weekends with occasional after-hours requirements during peak seasons Christmas and Easter.
