Hays is working with a well-established commercial general contractor specializing in a variety of commercial builds (anything from renovation / tenant improvement to larger new builds).
They pride themselves on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
As a Senior Project Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of commercial construction projects.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities :
- Project Planning : Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline.
- Stakeholder Management : Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Risk Mitigation : Identify and address potential risks to project success.
- Quality Control : Ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Budget Management : Monitor project costs and adjust as needed.
- Schedule Adherence : Keep projects on track and meet deadlines.
- Reporting : Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is an asset.
- Minimum 3-10 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- PMP certification completed or in progress (asset).
