Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of ICI construction and mid-rise projects from inception to completion.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction management principles.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Initiation : Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
Execution and Monitoring : Lead project teams, ensuring effective coordination and communication among team members.Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Implement quality control measures to ensure construction meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
- Budget and Cost Management : Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial reporting.Approve expenditures and manage procurement processes to maintain cost efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
Foster strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
- Safety and Compliance : Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Promote a culture of safety and implement safety plans and procedures.
- Project Closure : Oversee project closeout, including final inspections, documentation, and client handover.Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the ICI construction sector.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale ICI construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- PMP or similar certification is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
