Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), this role will act as a critical business partner for the Canadian business providing meaningful and timely decision support, target setting & monitoring, as well as analysis of financial results.
Specifically, the role will engage with functions such as (but not limited to) Sales, Supply Chain, and Procurement to drive efficiencies, establish procedures, and utilize a high degree of financial acumen to deliver business success.
Your Future :
- Integrate with cross-functional teams to establish full understanding of operational drivers. For example : Sales : revenue and trade drivers Supply Chain : freight and warehousing costs Procurement : Input costs (raw materials and packaging) and knock-on effects of COGS
- Provide financial expertise on a range of analyses from day-to-day to long-range business opportunities
- Autonomy to enhance or rebuild process and templates with the ultimate goal of effective, efficient, and transparent operations
- Understand and communicate COGS based on bill-of-materials and fees
- Work closely with cross-functional partners to improve transparency of business operations, and provide financial support to identify risks / opportunities
- Assist with the completion of business cycles from Month-End, Budget, Forecasts in a timely manner
- Assist in maintaining integrity of financial results and data outputs
- Develop and maintain standardized reporting to support business partners in financial decision-making
- Partner with local systems and international groups to execute on harmonized and compliant reporting
- Autonomy to enhance or rebuild process with the ultimate goal of effective, efficient, and transparent reporting
- SAP S4 and BW Analysis are the primary ERP and data systems
- Responsible for specific P&L line items in SAP
Your Strengths :
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with Accounting specialization.
- Completion, or near completion of professional accounting designation (CPA)
- 5 years financial analysis experience in a manufacturing organization
- Advanced SAP and Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills, multi-tasking, and a curious mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as position is required to interact cross-functionally
- Possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit in addition to being a collaborative team player
