About the Hotel The Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is a 128-room hotel, owned and operated by Easton's Group of Hotels. Located just off of the 401 hwy, it features 2 meeting rooms, the Bistro restaurant and a pool with a 100-ft water slide.

Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is looking for someone who is friendly and hospitality-focused to join our Bistro restaurant team as a Cook!
What will you be doing?
- Preparing meals per portion and quality standards specified in recipes. Controlling food for respective section(s) usage to minimize waste.
- Reporting to the supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
- Maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen area that meet or exceed the provincial and local Health Board inspection and hotel requirements.
- Promoting teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
- Performing functions with minimal supervision.
What are the requirements for this role?
- Basic reading, writing and math abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years of experience in food preparation, or equivalent combination of education and food preparation experience.
- May be required to work days, nights, weekends, and / or holidays.
- Strong communication skills
- Alcohol awareness certification and / or food service permit or valid health / food handler card as required by a local or provincial government agency.
