What does a Security Guard in Burlington do?
Facilitate access to restricted areas for authorized persons
Patrol the site on foot
Monitor closed-circuit cameras
Customer service, loss prevention, emergency response, receipt checking, patrols, high visibility, assist retail store operations with security needs as required.
Coordinate response to incidents
Respond to telephone calls received by the security department
Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Burlington
A valid security guard license and first aid card
Minimum one year of security expereince
Excellent customer service skills are a must.
Previous loss prevention experience preferred.
Law and Security or similar post-secondary education is an asset.
Have a clear criminal background
Be eligible to work in Canada
