Reporting to the Vice President, Client Experience, the Project Office Director plays a strategic role within the organization.
The incumbent will oversee all Project Management Office activities, including client project portfolio management.
The incumbent will also manage the organization’s application modernization program and act as a change agent.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and direct the project team : Prioritize the projects based on internal capacity and client context & needs.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the project management team. Encourage a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure that deadlines are met with the assistance of managers and report to internal and client steering committees.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the Project Management Office and the success of projects and the modernization program.
Provide regular reports to management on performance status.
- Maintain strong management standards, processes, and methodologies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including project owners, management, and external client representatives.
Modernization program
- Oversee the entire portfolio of projects included in the modernization program, ensuring a balance between the program, client projects, and the company’s strategic initiatives.
- Work with selected members of senior management, program owners, and designated technical managers to prioritize projects based on internal capacity.
Education
- Background in ICT or related field.
- Knowledge of finance and / or asset management a plus.
- Professional certifications in project management (PMP, PgMP) and portfolio management (PfMP) a strong plus.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience, including managing a project office team.
- Demonstrated experience implementing project management strategies.
- Experience managing people in a participative and collaborative environment.

- Bilingual (french & english)
