Job description
We are looking for a senior business analyst consultant to join our Toronto team and work on one of our capital markets projects, the BA will work in close partnership with ambitious business stakeholders and technology teams on a broad range of initiatives varying in risk, size and complexity.
- Working with Product Owner to create / update / refine User Stories
- Gathering and clarifying business requirements with business stakeholders
- Using monitoring tools to manage applications and respond to business / technical alerts raised
- Keeping abreast of latest changes in Capital Markets Regulatory Reporting domain
- Participating in Scrum ceremonies such as Daily scrum, Planning, Review etc.
- Escalate trade reporting issues to Senior Management and Compliance as deemed necessary
- Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close
- Supports the interpretation of internal and external policies and regulatory requirements relevant to the analytics.
- Supports development and execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and delivering business requirements for G20 regulations including trade reporting
- Great knowledge and experience within regulatory reporting and domain within repos( repurchase agreement)
- In depth understanding of G20 regulations including trade reporting.
- Global trade repository (DTCC , UnaVista) specifications is a must.
- Incumbent must be creative and result oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation, interpersonal and communication skills
