Our client, an expert in the food production industry, is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant. This is a full-time, direct-hire position! That means that you will be on our client’s payroll from day 1! Let us connect you with a great career!

Reporting to the CEO this role is responsible for providing support to the CEO. Key responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive.

The successful candidate is a driven individual who is open to roll up their sleeves to do what it takes to support the CEO in their daily business activities.

Salary range from $55,000 $70,000

Key Responsibilities :

Provide organizational and administrative support to CEO through calendar management, email monitoring, expense management, filing and report creation using Microsoft tools.

Draft, review and send communications on behalf of CEO.

Coordinate travel arrangements, submit expense reports, and review credit card expenditures.

Support CEO in managing vendor, executive team, and governmental relationships.

Support CEO in political and association(s) outreach, follow-ups, and messaging.

Attend networking and board events and meetings (with CEO).

Follow up on action items for the CEO including introductions and networking efforts of the CEO to ensure proactive response.

Support sales and marketing teams with developing proposals, preparing for customer meetings and greeting customers.

Maintain various records and documents for CEO as required.

Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Post secondary education, ideally in business or office administration.

2-5 years work experience, with at least 1 year in an executive support role.

Strong working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

High attention to detail, a self-starter, flexible to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Flexible, and able to adjust to changing work demands quickly and with little notice.

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.

Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

Ability to take a hands on’ approach.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
