Oversee the day to day operation with the assigned school sites to ensure smooth operations. The Site Manager role is a leadership role that bridges the service work to the broader goals of the Early Learning program delivery within the schools.
You lead in a manner that increases potential and capacity in personnel, operations and community settings. Respond to emergent needs within the community to ensure that the program achieves the service outcomes and objectives.
Responsibilities
Program Operation
- Oversee multi-disciplinary team, using a case management framework and key processes that will help guide them through their daily activities to ensure that best practices, roles and quality programming are clearly outlined and followed.
- Manage the program operational cycle and plan service delivery to achieve program goals and outcomes.
- Review family case plans to ensure programming reflects the needs and diversity of participants.
- Ensure active participation in the community to foster support for community connections, link options and opportunities to create and expand meaningful and relevant outcomes and nurture natural support for ongoing supports.
- Ensure implementation of leading practices and safety protocols.
- Engage with community resources to represent, discuss and / or establish collaborations, partnerships, or other services with a view to improve services to participants.
- Spend time in the classroom for the purpose of observing activities and providing feedback and coaching to staff.

Leadership
- Anticipate and work with human resources on staffing changes, training needs, participate in interviews, selection, onboarding, orientation, evaluation, development, disciplinary actions and goal planning.
- Support staff in their role by observing performance, recognizing successes, providing constructive feedback and maintaining appropriate documentation.
- Debrief and follow-up critical incidents and / or crisis situations in conjunction with staff and others, as required, to provide support, ensure proper protocol was followed and minimize future incidents.
Administration
- Participate and help complete grant proposals, funding applications as well as internal and external reports.
- Maintain accurate and current financial records, manage budgets, funder requirements and reporting deadlines.
- Prepare required reports and annual budget projections for effective and efficient program planning and ongoing review.
- Ensure that all information regarding service delivery is developed, managed and reported in a timely manner.
- Review submission of timesheets and monitor the use of vacation, sick and other leaves, and adjust as required.
- Work with OHS and HR on any staff incidents and coordination for WCB claims.
- Other duties as assigned.
