Reporting to the Director of Market Strategy, the Senior Manager Market Strategy & RGM leads in collaboration with the marketing leader the virtual team composed of cross-functionnal members and supporting AWC key pillars of growth.
He is responsible to drive the long-term profitable growth of our Agency partnership through establishing commercial strategy and optimizing revenue (RGM).
This person leads the overall MAPPS (Merchandising, Assortment, Price, Promotion, Shelving) guidelines for our brands in their respective portfolio across every region.
Having the ability to collaborate and influence across the organization at all levels is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Create the annual & long-term commercial strategy (portfolio management, pricing, promotion, shelving, distribution) and trade investment strategies for the Agency portfolio
Understand the financial profile of our product portfolio, including key drivers of profitability, leading to optimization, prioritization, pack-price architecture, channel strategies and other assortment-led strategic processes and initiatives.
Act as the voice of the customer and the regions with our Partners and with AWC leadership ensuring strategies aligns with customer priorities and opportunities
Ownership of market coherency between all regions and channels by creating brand and product guardrails for pricing and promotion.
Responsible for the promo trade envelop inclusive for agency partner. Properly allocating between region and brand to maximize total enterprise ROI.
Review Promotional Calendars including depth and frequency by SKU delivering promo optimization.
Working with Marketing and Agency partner on planning activities, initiatives along with external agencies to understand consumer behavior to ensure our strategy is perceived well from customer and consumer lens
Own the business review routines reporting into both internal Review and external Agency Partner review providing insights and creating action plans as needed to deliver business objectives.
Identify market trend, competition impact and white space analysis
Play a key role in driving innovation business cases and long-term brand development : pack size definition, regular and promo prices, volumes forecasts, promotional mechanisms, strategy and sales tool kit development and cascade to Sales teams in collaboration with other department
Coach and develop a team of 10 people (Region Manager and Sr Analyst Market Strategy & RGM) become future Market Strategy & RGM leaders, to increase productivity and responsibility.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required

COMPENSATION : Budgeted Range $114,246-$147,848
The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements.
Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
