We are growing and hiring a Quality Assurance Technician to work with the production team in maintaining the company’s existing ISO9001 : 2015 Quality System.

Responsibilities include :

  • Non-conformance system, maintain NC log, prepare reports, investigate, co-ordinate and / or complete corrective actions, preventative measures, and close.
  • Customer Complaint system, maintain CCR log, prepare complaint reports and close.
  • Return Materials Authorization system, maintain RMA register, assign RMA numbers as requested by Sales team, close.
  • Ensure that the QMS confirms to ISO9001 : 2015, internal and external audits.
  • Ensure the integrity of the QMS and that processes are delivering intended outcomes.
  • Solve the QA issues on the shop floor.
  • Inspect incoming product and work with vendors regarding QA issues.
  • Perform and / or co-ordinate metallurgical testing and prepare evaluations as required.
  • Report to Management on the performance of the QMS, opportunities for improvement or innovations.
  • Input product specifications and process instructions in the ERP system as required.

Skills and Requirements :

  • 2+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience reading technical drawings.
  • Previous experience in a technical role such as engineering, welder, machinist, etc. would be an asset.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary : $65,000 to $75,000.
